As part of the IMBA Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day and Outdoor October, the Albany Mountain Bike club is hosting a kid’s ride from around Lake Seppings.  Get out with your kids and enjoy! We’ll go through some basic bike setup and mountain bike skills, and even throw some snacks!

Please note all kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times – including on the ride.  But don’t worry, the ride is very flat and easy!

What?    We will go through some basic bike setup before doing some laps of the trails at Lake Seppings.  Afterwards we’ll have some of the features used for the Kid’s Urban Race available for a play, as well as some fruit.

Where?    Lake Seppings Drive/Bottom of Anzac Road

When?    9:00am, Sunday October 30.  We’ll aim to wind up around 12:00pm

How much is it?     The cost will be $5 per child, and adults are free! However, those who do not have a current Mountain Bike club membership will need to pay for day insurance (kids and adults I’m afraid!) or sign the waiver as part of this registration.  The good news?  MTBA are currently offering free 2 months membership, so if you all sign up you won’t need to pay for your insurance!  Check out MTBA for the details.  The club is organising more events, so please consider a Dirtmaster license for your kids, and maybe a social license for Mum and Dad – and don’t forget to select the Albany Mountain Bike Club!

Funds raised from events like this go back into the club to help us run more events, and advocate for trails in the Albany area.

Proudly supported by Great Southern Motorcycles, Bobs Bikes, Passmore Cycles and Impulse Cycles.
