Albany Mountain Bike Club is presenting a Pump Track race at the Albany Youth Challenge Park. Riders of all ages and on bikes of all wheel sizes are welcome to come and try this new racing format. 

  • Where: HQ set up at Club Sea Container Albany Youth Challenge Park
  • When: Friday 6th May
  • Sign in Desk Open : 5pm
  • Race Start (all categories) : 5:30pm
  • Presentations : 7pm

PUMP TRACK ELIMINATOR

Riders will be timed over an anticlockwise outside loop of the Pump Track. You may attempt as many timed practices as you want between 5:30pm and 6:00pm. Qualifying will occur between 6.00-6.30pm with riders having only one qualifying attempt. Elimination finals will occur between 6.30-7.00pm. The top 4 riders in each division will be seeded in elimination finals between 7.00-7.30pm. The fastest qualifier vs 4th, 2nd vs  3rd. The winner in each head to head semi (riders racing individually) will progress to the final.
In divisions with 3 competitors all competitors will ride in an elimination semi final. Divisions with 2 or less competitors will be a straight final.Registration and timing chip collection from 5pm. Timing chips must be returned at the end of the event or competitors risk replacement cost of $120.

Parking: Please park at the Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre Carpark. Parking at PCYC is not permitted. 

Food: Ice cream, coffee, burger and drinks will be available to buy. Masks are encouraged when not racing as this is an organised outdoor event.
This is an alcohol and smoke free event..

Australian standard helmets and at least one working brake are mandatory.
Protective gear and full face helmets are recommended. 

Who: Open to anyone age 6 or over! Junior riders 15 and over should pick a grade appropriate to their skill level, but don’t be afraid to challenge yourself ! 

Spectators are welcome.

Entry Fees $5. Late Entries additional $5.
